The 13th Annual Awards Gala was held May 6, 2006 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick. Award winners included the late Rep. Deborah Blumer, Person of the Year; Manoel de Sousa, Community Leader in Framingham, Manuel N. Coutinho Oustanding Volunteer Award; Ana Morais, Cambridge Ethnic Librarian, Mary & Manuel Rogers Lifetime Community Service Award; and Boston Police Sgt.
